Director of Co-Curricular

Welcome to the community of Abbotsleigh. Abbotsleigh is a pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican day and Boarding school for girls. The Role 

The Director of Co-Curricular will have overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the co-curricular life of the Senior School. This includes, but is not limited to Sport, Performing Arts, Debating, STEM, Service, Environment, Outdoor Education, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. 

The Duties

As a member of the executive team, the successful candidate will be an innovative and enthusiastic strategic and creative thinker with expert knowledge and understanding of a large variety of programs and activities that are suitable for senior school girls. Demonstrating excitement and passion for all the programs in which the girls wish to be involved, the Director of Co-curricular will work in a highly collaborative manner with key members of staff and the girls to ensure the delivery of a coordinated fun and engaging ‘whole girl’ program for the girls. 

 

About our Team

The Director of Co-Curricular will work collaboratively within the School, undertaking responsibilities within the team, as required by the Deputy Headmistress/Head of Senior School. They will help provide management and leadership to the Co-Curricular Team as well as foster a productive and welcoming work environment and support the Team in their professional development. Be fully aware that this role will require weekend and evening commitments
