Full-time and Casual Cleaners
Abbotsleigh, an Anglican day and Boarding school for girls at Wahroonga, requires a reliable and conscientious staff to join the School’s cleaning team. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
The role involves cleaning (wiping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing) the School’s facilities, including classrooms, corridors and common areas, bathrooms, office spaces, and sporting facilities.
The ideal candidates will display a positive attitude, have attention to detail, provide excellent customer service, and have pride in their work. They will also have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. This labor-intensive, heavy-lifting role suits a reliable, and energetic person who is comfortable working alone and locking up after hours, and displaying sensitivity to clients at all times.
A Working with Children Check Clearance is a requirement of the position.
Other Requirements and Details
- Working hours are from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
- 4 weeks of annual leave is taken during the non-term time (School holidays) and generally during December – January when cleaning demands are low.
