TAS Teacher

The Role

Abbotsleigh has a wonderful opportunity for an engaging and highly motivated TAS teacher to join our dynamic TAS department for a 12-month maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will be an educator who is highly motivated to support Abbotsleigh to maintain and develop learning and innovation, ensure continued academic achievement, and inspire, engage, and value every girl. You will be part of a well-resourced department, and a team that is always happy to give you a hand and help guide and support you. The Duties


  • demonstrates extensive knowledge, competence and confidence in Stages 4 - 6 TAS (including Digital Technologies, Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and Stage 5 Textiles Technology)
  • demonstrates application of pedagogy that extends learning in technologies and design
  • knowledge of NESA and other relevant curriculum requirements
  • applies skills in the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) across the breadth of the TAS curriculum
  • demonstrates extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (required), Laser Cutting, 3D Printing and Fusion360 (desirable)
