Start Term 2 end Term 4| Full time (parental leave) | Reports to Head of TAS

Abbotsleigh has a wonderful opportunity for an engaging and highly motivated TAS teacher to join our dynamic TAS department for a 3-term maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will be an educator who is highly motivated to support Abbotsleigh in maintaining and developing learning and innovation, ensuring continued academic achievement, and inspiring, engaging, and valuing every girl. You will be part of a well-resourced department, and a team that is always happy to give you a hand and help guide and support you. The Duties

  • demonstrates extensive knowledge, competence and confidence in Stages 4 - 6 TAS (including Industrial and Food Technology)
  • demonstrates the application of pedagogy that extends learning in technologies and design
  • knowledge of NESA and other relevant curriculum requirements
  • applies skills in the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) across the breadth of the TAS curriculum
  • demonstrates extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (required), Laser Cutting, 3D Printing and Fusion360 (desirable)
