Receptionist and Administration Assistant

We're looking for a dynamic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Abbotsleigh Senior School. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, so excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, flexibility, confidentiality, and a friendly, compassionate demeanour are a must. You will be providing administrative support for some members of our Leadership Team, including basic accounts functions and statement reconciliation, PowerPoint presentations and working with data in spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct visitors, issuing visitor passes and logging their details.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
  • Manage office supplies and handle mail deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance and Senior Leadership team.

About You:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Courteous and professional.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (intermediate to advanced level).

Additional Information:

  • Core hours: 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Full-time during term time.
  • Classified as a Level 2.4 Clerical Officer under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
