Bus Driver
Position: Bus Driver (Ad-hoc/Casual)
Location: Abbotsleigh, Wahroonga, NSW
About Us: Abbotsleigh is a prestigious pre-K to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls, established in 1885. Renowned for academic and all-around excellence, we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for our students.
Role Overview: We are seeking reliable, courteous, and well-presented bus drivers for adhoc/casual engagements during school term time. The engagements may occur during the school day, afternoons/evenings, and occasionally on weekends. Hours of work will vary between regular events within a term and one-off trips and excursions for various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school events, excursions, and other activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the bus.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school policies.
Requirements:
- Hold a Light Rigid (LR) driving license with an excellent driving record.
- Provide an RTA printout of your driving record if required.
- Experience driving a 24-seater bus and working with students is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sydney’s roads, attractions, and educational institutions is an advantage.
- Current Working with Children Check clearance is a prerequisite.
