The Archdale Library is located within the Abbotsleigh Research Centre, an architectural showpiece and arguably the intellectual heart of the Senior School campus of Abbotsleigh. The Library is well-resourced with a large historical, contemporary, and online collection, with a variety of flexible, inspiring, and technology-rich learning spaces.
The Academic Services Librarian will be responsible for designing, planning and providing innovative client-centred services to underpin the teaching, learning and research activities of the School. They work with teachers and students to identify, evaluate and develop information resources, as well as provide expert assistance with information discovery, to reflect the School’s curriculum and research priorities. The Academic Services Librarian will contribute to strategic initiatives within the Library and the Abbotsleigh Research Centre, particularly in relation to researcher support, research education, academic mentoring of students and student study skills support
