About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Violin Tutor to deliver high-quality private tuition to students in the Junior School and also be involved in our cocurricular string program, leading and/or assisting ensembles as part of our vibrant Instrumental Program. This is a casual position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging private violin tuition to students from Kindergarten to Year 6
  • Conduct small and large String ensembles and prepare them for school performances and events
  • Support students in preparation for AMEB examinations and school concerts
  • Scheduling of weekly lessons and submission of timesheet to music admin
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Music (BMus) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Demonstrated experience in group tuition and ensemble direction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to nurturing musical growth in young learners
