Empowering girls through inclusive education and lifelong learning, Abbotsleigh is seeking a passionate and experienced Diverse Learning Coordinator to join our vibrant learning community from the beginning of 2026.

This full-time teaching and leadership role offers the opportunity to shape inclusive, high-impact learning environments that support students with diverse learning needs. You will lead the implementation of evidence-based support strategies, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with national and state requirements, including NCCD and NESA disability provisions.

About the Role 

The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge, competence, and confidence in:

  • Leading the school’s NCCD processes, including data collection, staff training, and compliance reporting
  • Managing NESA documentation for disability provisions with accuracy and timeliness
  • Designing inclusive, engaging lessons that support diverse learning needs, with a focus on how girls learn best
  • Developing and implementing personalised learning plans and differentiated strategies across year levels
  • Supporting students in building confidence, independence, and academic resilience
  • Mentoring classroom teachers in inclusive practices and adjustments
  • Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning within the Learning Enrichment team
  • Engaging in pastoral care and supporting student wellbeing through academic care
  • Participating in whole-school initiatives, co-curricular programs, and community events

Qualifications

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inclusive education and learning support.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum differentiation and evidence-based pedagogy.
  • Experience with NCCD and disability provisions processes.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative, reflective approach to teaching and learning.
