Abbotsleigh Early Learning Centre provides high-quality education for children aged 0-5 years.

Abbotsleigh Early Learning offers the unique opportunity to educate within a PreK-12 context. The Early Learning Centre is located within the Junior School campus, operating from 7.30 am-6.30 pm on weekdays for 49 weeks per year.

We are seeking a degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher, who is passionate about working with young children and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and a genuine love for early education. What You’ll Do

  • Implement and evaluate high quality educational programs in line with National Quality Standards and Curriculum Framework
  • Contribute to centre wide planning documents
  • Lead a class team
  • Contribute confidently to pedagogical decisions
  • Create outstanding documentation pieces that showcase children’s learning
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of National Law and National Regulations related to Early Childhood
  • Embed a deep understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework into all documents
  • Build and maintain respectful, reciprocal relationships with children and families
  • Build and maintain respectful and professional relationships with staff
  • Maintain environments to the highest possible standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative learning environment
  • Uphold a professional demeanour at all times

What You’ll Bring

  • An ACECQA recognised degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Registration as a teacher with NESA- NSW Educational Standards Authority (Provisional Accreditation accepted)
  • First Aid certification
  • NSW Working with Children Check
