Abbotsleigh is seeking an experienced and innovative Applications Developer to support and enhance the School’s key digital systems. Working within a technology-rich environment, you will help deliver and support existing high-quality applications, integrations, and user experiences that support teaching, learning, wellbeing, and school operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building modern solutions, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful digital initiatives. Applicants from both industry and education backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

About the Role
Support and administer core school applications, including the LMS, SIS, and collaboration tools
Develop and maintain custom applications, interfaces, and data integrations
Manage web-based platforms, including the School Intranet and portals
Build and maintain secure, reliable API connections across systems
Work closely with IT leadership on projects, development, testing, and documentation
Contribute to innovation that enhances digital learning, communication, and operational efficiency

About You
Strong skills in modern JavaScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and API development
Experience with Azure services, SQL, GitHub, and containerisation
Ability to troubleshoot, document clearly, and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
A willingness to learn about school operations, privacy standards, and educational technologies
