Immediate start | Permanent full-time | Reports to Director of Development and Community Relations

Abbotsleigh is seeking a warm, relationship-focused Old Girls Manager to lead engagement with our former students — known as Old Girls, a traditional term used to describe past students of girls’ schools.

In this pivotal role, you will build lifelong connections between Old Girls and the School, delivering meaningful programs, events, reunions, mentoring and professional networking opportunities. You will be the primary point of contact for Old Girls and provide high-level support to the Abbotsleigh Old Girl Union (AOGU), working closely with its President and Executive Committee.


About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Development and Community Relations, you will:

  • Lead engagement and relationship-building with Old Girls locally, nationally and internationally
  • Plan and deliver reunions, milestone events and AOGU activities
  • Support Old Girl volunteering, mentoring, careers and philanthropic engagement
  • Manage communications, databases and digital engagement
  • Provide professional governance and administrative support to the AOGU
  • Event management skills to deliver  multiple events throughout the year

About You|Essential Knowledge & Experience

You are an organised, people-centred professional with experience in alumni, community or relationship management. You bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, confidence working with volunteers and senior stakeholders, and strong digital and CRM capability. This role requires flexibility, including some evening and weekend work for key events.
