The Role
Abbotsleigh has a wonderful opportunity for an engaging and highly motivated part-time PDHPE teacher to join our dynamic PDHPE department for term 3 as Long Service Leave cover. The successful candidate will be an educator who is highly motivated to support Abbotsleigh to maintain and develop learning and innovation, ensure continued academic achievement, and inspire, engage, and value every girl.
The Duties
The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge, competence, and confidence in Stages 4 – 5 PDHPE courses. They will be able to prepare and implement lessons that use a range of teaching strategies and styles appropriate to girls’ levels, abilities, and interests. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of departmental programs and communicate with parents/guardians, staff, and girls in a respectful, professional, and constructive way.
About our Team
The PDHPE Teacher will work collaboratively within the PDHPE department and year group, undertaking responsibilities within the team, as required by the Head of PDHPE. The successful applicant is expected to support and participate in the co-curricular activities and the Christian life of the School.

*Please note currently a 0.81 FTE but could become full-time for term 3, Annual Part-time Package $75,000 - $107,000, Annual Full-time Package $96,000 - $136,000 (depending on experience)
